Pooh 3

It's life, but not as we know it, not as we know it, not as we know it, Captain

I see one of my self-appointed betes noir is up to his old tricks again, relentlessly beating up some poor sucker who makes the mistake of responding to his trolling. I guess he's having a rough week and there's no dog available to kick. I'd worry about stalkery weirdness over the weekend, but I have way too much to do. I'm just regretful that I crossed his path again, but that's going to happen from time to time due to circumstances. At least I resisted the temptation to step up and call him a twat, though the impulse was mighty, I say, mighty.

Speaking of trolls, it's actually gotten a bit depressing to see the wild overactivity from the AMPTP's crew of astroturfers as they try to sway opinion against the Writer's Guild of America over the strike. The sheer ferocity of anti-writer posts following a Fox employee driving his car into writer/producer Rene Balcer (and then getting out to physically attack the guy and bodyslam him out into the Avenue of the Stars) really got to me, especially over at Deadline Hollywood Daily (where I suspect some posts got eaten due to system issues; I know two of mine vanished after supposedly going into the moderation queue.)

I'm presently alternating between reading and writing, with very little attention to video at the moment. I did watch a couple of leftover episodes of The Highland Clans, interesting despite being light on details. I'm not really missing my TV fix, either, surprisingly enough. This is what happens when I get back on the writing horse -- that addiction is far more powerful.

Anyway, back to it. I have one more section to write of Supergirl #13, and then it's to the mic for some overdue lines. This weekend will be all about Shakespeare, I think.
